Lee Fowler deserves alot of credit, he has been working hard. I am glad no news has come out from either Texas or us and I don't want it too until something is official. It is obvious to me that they working to get the best deal possible for NC State out of this.

they and the rest of the media are desperate to be the first one get any breaking news because they know people are at the edge of their seats wanting information. But news about people turning us down or supposedly us nameing a number one candidate who doesn't accept doesn't help the search no matter how much fans want to be involved and informed about the process.

He is cheaper, a better coach vs our rivals, has that italian charisma, AND has a BADASS website.

Now that things are shaking down and becoming muddy, it seems more realistic that the whole "Fowler & Co. not speaking to Calipari in first few days of search" may be spoonfed bullshit to help all parties involved cover their asses.

Realistically they knew both barnes and cal were in successful programs that would have major fallout if they leave to come here. It sucks to admit it, but all of this is probably smoke & mirrors and we probably are all way off the mark about what is actually happening behind the scenes.

Im glad the talk of tubby coming here has subsided today.

So say the rumors & he hasnt been busted yet & maybe never will be.

But that doesent mean he will be like that here. In fact, he probably will be on a shorter leash here beacuse our alumni and big wigs are all gonna watch him like hawks to make sure he doesent pull another V scandal. Give him and our athletic dept. more credit than that.
