i just got "The Dropper" and i'm disappointed. it seems very disjointed, like they're just kind of rambling musically. however, i already have "End of the World Party (Just in Case)," and i absolutely love it. what else would you recommend? 4/11/2006 9:31:00 AM |

I know nothing about this group other than the few tracks on my computer, but I really enjoy what I've heard. 4/11/2006 10:02:21 AM |

Odd: the Dropper is possibly my favorite. That or Uninvisble. 4/11/2006 10:32:40 AM |

what else do you have spaced guy? it depends on what you're into really... the early stuff was fairly traditional jazz, then they kept expanding the sound more and more, incorporating hip-hop elements, etc. if you're into the more traditional-type jazz stuff, i recommend "It's a Jungle in Here" but if you're wanting more experimental sound, go for "Combustication" ... but in my opinion, they're one of the best acts out there, whether or not people have heard of them. rock on! 4/12/2006 1:51:07 PM |

I think Shack-man is the most accessible if you are just getting into them. I prefer the more traditional jazz stuff so my favorites are Its A Junge In Here and Friday Afternoon in the Universe. Tonic is great but it is pretty much a free jazz album so you might not like it if you arent into that sound. 4/12/2006 5:48:26 PM |
