I bought a very nice Dell Inspiron 9300 with 1Gig DDR2 533Mhz mem, 256MB Go 6800, 80gig HD and a 3 yr in home warranty off of TWW for $1200. I'd say $1200 with the base is considerable for this, but $1100 is def reasonable as well.
