the craigslist ad says "no calls about this job please!" but they didnt list a phone number in the ad

however when i looked up the company in the yellow pages, i was able to find their number and address

would it be that bad to call them about the job? wouldn't it make me seem very interested in getting it?

and is it okay for me to drive by the company to try to talk to someone in person?

If the ad specifically says no phone calls, then don't call. You're more than likely going to piss them off and talk them quickly into giving the job to someone else.

so what about going by the company? it's in north raleigh....

and the "no calls" is just one of the check boxes in the craiglist ad, just like "No reposting this message is not ok" and "no recruiters please"

It would probably be okay to just drop by the place. Just say something like you wanted to ask about the status of your application or to make sure they received your application. If they say there is no one available to talk to you, then don't be pushy about making a time to see someone or anything. It may be their way of telling you they don't want to talk to people in person before they narrow the field down some. Whatever you do, don't call though. It shows them that you cannot follow directions and who wants to hire someone who can't do that?
