I would hear songs on tv or radio while with TennisAngel and remark how I really liked that song and would ask who did it since she is my database for all things pop. After at least 10 times coming up that the songs I liked were all done by Kelly Clarkson I was forced to admit that I am a closet Kelly Clarkson fan. I don't like pop music in general and I don't ever watch American Idol so this was not something I was prepared for.

So, I am happy I did not pay to see this show. If I was a real fan and would've paid $75 for the seats I sat in, I would be disappointed. She played for only an hour, and there was about a 5-minute long live Ford commercial. Never heard of the opening band, but they sucked. Kelly has a powerful, great voice, and was cute. First time I have ever been to a major concert like that where the artist(s) did not come back and do an encore after all the confetti and shutting off the lights. Apparently, Ruben Studdard was there, and I was surprised Gay Aiken didn't come out for a duet. I just expected a lot more from her, I heard heard that it was a really high energy, fun show.

I liked Rooney. They were nothing special, but what can you really expect from an opening act.

I thought Kelly was great, she was so cute and the songs were AWESOME live. The Mustang thing was kinda lame though. And I do wish she had performed for longer, or came back for an encore. I realize her discography is not huge, so that might be why.
