Couple friends and my gf are going to Points Autocross event in Sanford on April 30th.

We're also taking a Ford Focus and our main racehead is driving his dads 1st Gen RX-7, modified.

The Ford Focus and I are in the bottom level novice. The rx-7 is going to be in in a higher class.

This is my first event so I expect to miss a few gates

^bahah yesss. im just happy to be against something other than STis. maybe this other guy will switch to STU this event. he's waiting on his backordered tires before he can move from BSP

^^don't worry. peejay and I are the novice coordinators and we have a pretty good novice program setup. we have a group of mentors and if you want you can pair up w/ someone who'll show you the ropes throughout the morning and trade rides w/ each other, etc. we'll be sending out the novice email w/ more info soon.

Awesome. I'm excited. The GT I have, has a different set of tires that are much wider than I've been used to in other cars. Usually I can make it screech when I turn but they grip REALLY well!
