there was an organic gardening club briefly on campus (2001-2002?)

the school gave us a patch of undeveloped land off the corner of western and dan allen

that garden used to be like a little piece of heaven; you could be in the center of raleigh and feel like you were out in the country. we grew corn, different lettuces, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, peas, etc. there was a scarecrow and a sign. we used the spigot on the back of the transportation? bldg to get water for the plants.

now it's a parking lot. it's cool to remember that there was once some undeveloped land on the main campus.

The 21" monitors are still here and there. They are mostly being removed in favor of 19" LCDs though.

Help set up or take down a lab with 45 21" CRTs and you'll understand why.
