I know there's one at Avent Ferry and Gorman, and there's another on Capital Blvd north of I-540. From my house it's about the same distance to either one, so that's not an issue. Does anybody have some experience with both offices to know which one would be faster? Thanks!

The DMV on Avent Ferry is 1000000000 times faster than the one out on Capital Blvd. I'd suggest going to the one on Avent Ferry. (When the N.Raleigh location moved north of 540 the layout changed... and it's horrible)

i went to the avent ferry one right when it opened one morning. shit was empty (i was suprised, and if you've ever been to a charlotte dmv, you know why). it stayed slow enough to where i could do all my renewal crap, go home and get my checkbook, and get back. still only took me like 30 minutes.

I went in around 4:30/45 at the Avent Ferry one and was in n out as a couple came in behind me. I definately say go to that one.

You have to pay $10 to replace a damaged license but at least you can do it online.

the one off of 540 has too many mexicans. this guy came it three times using three different sets of papers and none of them worked. all while i sat waiting to be helped
