If anyone in the city of Raleigh or surrounding has a DB9 (ie serial ie R232) female to female cable or adapter that I could have ASAP, please post here!

I'll gladly pay you for it or if I could just borrow it for a couple weeks untill one can arrive from the internet. Unexpectedly needed for sr. design project.

GEEZ cut the damn wires and solder them back together in the way you want them... pin 2 and 3 are TX/RX (don't remember which is which but it doesn't matter) and pin 5 is ground...

I'll make you one delivered tonight for $20 but you can't make a damn comment on the quality of craftsmanship

i had her go by connect-it this am and get what she needed, sr design prject was using a com to network rig to talk to the device, adpator puked out, none of the local palces had null modem or serial cables in stock AND were open after 7 pm.

I had that same problem the other day... Wal-mart has like 40 different USB cables and 0 serial cables
