currently supported phones
If you want to use EQO and are not sure if your phone is supported, here is the list of phones that currently work with EQO:

Sony-Ericsson:

D750, J300, K500, K506, K508, K600, K608, K700, K750, K758, S700, S710, V600, V800, W550, W600, W800, W900, Z520, Z800

Nokia:

3230, 3250, 6111, 6165, 6260, 6265, 6270, 6280, 6600, 6620, 6630, 6670, 6680, 6681, 6682, 7370, 7610, N70, N91

Motorola:

L7, PEBL, RAZR V3, ROKR E1, SLVR, U6, V360, V361

Palm:

Treo 650

well, it's not like stuff like this needs a "point," all the time. however, the point is that you could use your palm device or other phone without using your cellular minutes.

how are you not using your minutes, you still have to "call" your computer
this isn't 3g voip

Yes, but the good news is your calls are all counted towards incoming/receive minutes from your wireless carrier.

so i guess if you have a free incoming plan you get unlimited calls, but thats the only advantage i see

but on the down size you need unlimited data (and sms?) and it will use your battery faster and you have to pay for skype credits

so... how is this good?

aw man... I didn't see that. lame. I wasn't going to use it anyway, because I have plenty of minutes, but, totally lame

i guess it would be cool if you had alot of friends on skype
