Just thought I'd give you an overview of what Lee Fowler and Chuck Amato had to say at the Wolfpack Club banquet in Edenton. Murray Nixon's in Edenton catered the event, and there was a turnout of about 250.

Lee Fowler
-Did not take any questions about coaching search.
-Had talked to 2 potential coaches yesterday
-Was supposed to talk to 2 more coaches last night on his way back to Raleigh
-A coaching hire could be made today, next week, or another month from now.
-Admitted that people had tracked Wendell Murphy's plane down several times
-Said that the coaching search is in the 'quiet' phase meaning that no information is being leaked out

Chuck Amato
-Said that he thought Herb Sendek was a good coach, but that State would hire a better one.
-Said that a lot of potential coaches had contacted him about how he was treated at NC State.
-Reggie Davis has been moved to linebacker and led the team in tackles over the past couple of weeks
-Jamelle Eugene is a name you better not forget. Amato said he may be better than both Baker and Brown
-Demario Pressley may move to Defensive End
-Alot of players have been put into different defensive positions
-Amato seemed confident about the team as he usually does
-Stressed the fact that State was the only team to shutout opponent in bowl game
-Stressed the fact that State is one of only 2 teams in the past 6 years to shutout an opponent in a bowl game
-Mentioned that State is the only team to beat both ACC champions since the league expanded
-The Walk of Champions will not be at a set location this year. He said that the team will walk in from different areas of the stadium.
-Encouraged fans to be louder like SEC schools. He wants the crowd to be as loud as possible when the opposing team is on offense.

Wolfpack Club Representative
-NCSU donors gave 9.5 million dollars last year
-All scholarships came from NCSU donations
-2nd highest donations in the ACC
