The door ding guard (I hope that's what they call it) started to peel away and fall off. I used some apoxy to try to get it to stay on, but I believe that it is only a temp. fix. I would like it to be put back on, but I don't want to buy a new one because the paint wouldn't match. My question is this: What do collision shops use to put back on those guards? Also, is there someone who wants to make a few bucks and get this part back on correctly? Thanks for your help. 4/19/2006 1:27:09 PM |

I didn't put epoxy on my paint...Under the ding guard, there was remnince of some adheisive (Black) crap. I put small amount of apoxy on that, so the wind wouldn't pull the whole thing off. If I need to have it painted, its no big deal. I just figured that no one would look under my ding guard for paint.... 4/19/2006 2:49:24 PM |

and, like 69 said, 3m makes double sided molding tape.. look for the stuff with the red plastic backing on it... you can get it at any auto parts store and probably wal-mart
