I don't know if this has happened already, but I'm gonna go ahead and predict that the NME has either already called the Arctic Monkeys the greatest band in the world or will do so within a year.

Because they fucking SUCK.

But there IS a show in Charlotte I want to go to next week (or something). But I'm not taking off work and driving out there, most likely.

double overrated header heaven

p.s. you know that Kanye line "Hater niggas marry hater bitches and have hater kids"?

HE WROTE THAT ABOUT ME.

p.p.s. I'm not even hating on the Monkeys, though, even though I don't really like them. I'm hating on the press for overhyping such a ridiculously mediocre band.

The thing is... The Tabernacle is like the size of Disco Rodeo I think. And it has The Cotton Club under it, which is also dope. I saw Muse there in '04.

If you like Arctic Monkeys, fine. Personally, I think they sound like a bad Buzzcocks cover band, but that's just me.

The last show listed, however, is pure crap.

i do not like arctic monkeys, they sound like a cover band of more than just the buzzcocks, but im sure it all starts with the buzzcocks, if that makes any sense

I saw Primus at the Tabernacle when I was living just outside of Atlanta a couple years ago. Awesome experience.

I personally like the tabernacle more than the disco rodeo.

I like being anally fisted more than the Disco Rodeo.

It doesn't take a whole lot to outdo them.

All radhar posts boil down to essentially the same thing.

I don't think the arctic monkeys are horrible, but they're definitely not as good as they've been hyped up to be. I don't think anyone could live up to that hype, though. that said, they're fairly decent I suppose.

FINALLY. Someone is picking up on the underlying meanings of my posts. I was starting to think that all of my efforts were in vain. I mean forming my tastes in music around what other people like is EXHAUSTING.
its all starting to pay off
