I like widening the margins enough to make the paper longer but not enough to be detected.

When trying to stretch a paper, I like 12.5 or 12.25 font, slightly bigger to make a 9 pg paper 10 13 is too noticeable a change. I don't like messing with the margins. And then if I have quotes, I just make the same amount of change to size 10.

You people needing extra space are pussies.
Try having Dr. Dow in MAE 415. He had us limit reports to only 10 pages. We had to slightly widen margins, shrink pictures, use 11.5 font and do a bunch of other crap just to get credit for all of our reports.
