Err ... so is this like a timeshare thing for IT ppl? Sit through a 2 hour pressure sales presentation and get free/discount tickets to something afterwards?

i signed up too but i hope i don't have to sit through some IT presentation torture session or get spammed by these folks.......one time i thought i won lunch for 12 but turned out to be some amex seminar so i never went...
