I've heard that there is a way to get old classes dropped off your transcript. I can't remember if I heard you had to petition someone, or fill out some forms.

The short version of my situation is that I had a horrible freshmen year, and since then, I've taken a number of those classes over and acutally passed them with good grades. However, that year is killing my gpa now. It was 6 years ago, and what I remember hearing was that if a certain amount of time had passed, you could petition to get those classes dropped.

Anyone heard anything like this?

Semesters, not classes. Post this in Study Hall for some more official responses.
