Gordie was a far more complete player than Gretzky ever was. They didn't just name the Gordie Howe Hat Trick after him arbitrarily.

Still, Gretz is Gretz. 970 more points than anyone else.

Patrick Roy in his prime was a tremendous goalie.

Don't get me started on Patrick Roy.

Best goalie ever by a long shot, followed by Ken Dryden.

I can't read what you are saying because I've got my two Stanley Cup rings plugging my eyes.

if Gretzky never scored a goal, he'd STILL be #1 in all-time points. 'nuff said.

Except put Orr in number three and move Messier out. I never thought he was that good.

Maurice Richard should be in the top 5...

I would have:

Gretzky
Orr
Howe
Richard
Harvey

Gretzky
Howe
Orr

Honorable mentions go to Lemieux, Borque, Messier, Roy, Yzerman, and Hasek

If I recall ESPN had a list of hockey greats that you could drag and make a top ten out of and then see how it compared to what others said, I thought this was pretty damn cool if anyone can dig up the link.

Vernon's a pussy. He went diving into another fight WITH HIS MASK ON. He even left it on when he started dancing with Roy, Patrick had to rip it off his face.
