this is Tom Delonge's post-Blink 182 project. Delonge claims Angels & Airwaves we be "the best music in decades."

"The songs are all six minutes long, and [the music] feels like you're going to cry but you put your fist in the air and you can conquer the world... It's built on a punk-rock foundation, but it definitely doesn't sound like blink." -another Delonge quote in reference to the new band

there's also a movie for the band in the works a la The Wall. i think it comes it in May. i promise it'll be way better than Ultraviolet.

yeah, the songs seem very epic. big sound, lots of emotion. obviously its not "the best music in decades". thats just a rediculous statement. but its decent. its worth a listen if you liked box car racer.

i like the album a lot; they're touring with taking back sunday this summer...but weren't with them at greene st. last thursday

apparently one of their shows sold out in 2 minutes

my girlfriend interviewed for a designer position at atticus clothing and tom showed up to do the interview, she said he's pretty down to earth. they just talked for like 30 minutes but then he had to go see cirque de soleil (which he was really excited about).
