my other who's hiring thread is old and tired and ill-suited for finding a real job so it's time for a new one

i'm getting tired of being pretty much unemployed so i have finally resorted to tww to find a job

I have a EE and CPE degree and would like to do something with mechatronics, embedded systems, control systems, or circuit design but i'm open for pretty much anything

i can probably start immediately (though i might need some relocation time)

that more or less covers it

P.S. anyone else looking for a job feel free to shanghai this thread

anyone looking to hire someone - isn't looking for a person that has a 50k+ post count on tww

especially if that individual has resorted to finding their job on here as opposed to using their resume or networking

I think you forgot to mention that you are only looking in this area which I think I saw you mention somewhere else. If you were willing to relocate getting a job would not be that hard.

yeah, originally i was looking solely in this area, which really limited me

recently, however, i've relented on my requirements a bit

if it's in the area (or NC, really), i'd pretty much be willing to do anything EE related that pays decent

if i have to move out of state i'd want the job to be concentrated on mechatronics, embedded systems, control systems, and/or circuit design

finally, i want to avoid NY/TX/CA and stay in the country

and ideally i'd want something in robotics and maybe relocation pay

so i've broadened that part of my job search a bit

I am co-oping at Northrop Grumman Newport News (we build aircraft carriers and subs) and I believe they have a few positions open for EE's. Check out brassring:
