people are acting this way b/c we can't find a good coach. now if we had a good coach by now, then people wouldn't be worried. if herb hadn't left people wouldn't be ready to "jump off the cliff," b/c we wouldn't have been put in this situation in the first place. so indirectly it is b/c herb left. directly it's b/c Fowler can't close the deal.
