why don't companies include power adaptors for pci-e vid cards that are SLI ready?! unless you've got a new psu you're not gonna freakn have 2 connectors. i hate it when companies ::eVGA cough cough:: cut corners like that.

because you're buying a cheap psu built on another platform standard than your current machine.

how is that? if i've already got a "non-cheap" psu that has plenty of Watts and only 1 pci-e connector and i wanna go SLI i've got to buy another $70+ psu? good thinking...

[Edited on April 28, 2006 at 11:09 AM. Reason : rather than use a supplied ~$3 connector?]

Yeah, that's what I have as well. It came with an adaptor. My PSU has two PCI-E cables anyway, though, because it's not some ghetto shit like Battousai's got.

or Intrex and buy one today w/out waiting.

And like ^ said...if you can afford 2 7800GT's then you can afford an adapter (even though one should have come with it).

Intrex doesn't carry them anymore.

Tiger Direct = paying for shipping and waiting.

Wether or not I can afford 2 7800gt's does not mean i'm going to pay $8 for some plastic and wires...
