Ok there is a thread about small applications for you thumb drive which is pretty cool, but how about [b]the best free or cheap applications[\b] in general, from browsers, to antivirus, to utilities. Just copy this list and add to it....

why? I can see someone wanting to be able to search for specifically open source stuff, but why bother completely seperating the lists?
