MSE 201 is fairly simple and covers a wide range of topics 5/1/2006 12:13:29 PM |

Is the Problem lab for MSE 201 mandantory? Do you have to go to it, cause some courses the professors make it optional 5/1/2006 2:01:13 PM |

CE 213 is statics for non-CE majors, so it is easier than CE 214 or MAE 206. Statics will help you if you plan to take the FE. 5/1/2006 2:07:36 PM |

when I took MSE 201 the problem session was optional each week and its the time period they set aside for everyone to come take the tests. who is scheduled to teach it this time? 5/1/2006 2:40:52 PM |

i had Lew (Reynolds) for another MSE class he's really relaxed and laid back. he's very informal in fact i've never heard anyone call him Dr. Reynolds. 5/1/2006 8:15:18 PM |

Well I guess I am leaning more towards MSE 201, if you don't have to attend the problem sessions.
Packfan....what did you do in the problem sessions? Just go over HW and stuff? 5/2/2006 11:44:24 AM |

MAE301 isn't bad. I'm taking Zeng who is impossible to understand and I'm sure that with a better professor it'd be much better. 5/2/2006 12:05:06 PM |

being a Mech. Eng. student, i'd say take MAE 301, its thermo, which most people say is hard, but it was pretty straight forward material 5/2/2006 12:52:40 PM |

If you choose MAE 301, take Boles. He's kind of a hard-ass, but he's fair and a good teacher. 5/2/2006 6:04:01 PM |

i never went to the problem sessions except to take the test. my understanding it was an informal question and answer session b/c we weren't required to do homework 5/2/2006 7:31:32 PM |
