I'm getting too old for this shit. Anyway, doing donuts in the yard we threw a rock through a neghbors truck window. Anybody know of a decent inexpensive fix for it? It's on an old Jimmy/Blazer, the small ones. Any suggestions much appreciated.

too old? i don't think that's much of an excuse. if you don't know how to do something, just admit it.

yeah, it's called replacing the window. since you can't do it yourself, i would suggest calling a glass company.

The 'too old' part was referring to the dumbassery that led to a completely demolished Trooper, a Crown Vic riding on three wheels and one rim, 5 cop cars, and a busted Jimmy window. Not to mention the retaining wall, the ruts in the yard, the busted up trees and landscaping throughout the neighborhood, etc.

I was just looking for a decent shop preferably with access to a used window. But thanks for your most helpful input jackass.

not a problem.

actually, why don't you ask your neighbor if he has full coverage on his insurance. maybe if he's cool, he'll let you take it to glassmasters. they'll pay the deductible and have insurance cover the rest. tell him it won't cost him a dime and won't affect his insurance rates either.

Good idea, but it doesn't seem likely that someone would have full coverage on an older S-Blazer or Jimmy. Guess anything's possible though.

Dumbassery just becomes more painful. The Trooper runs fine, just looks like it got run through a very large garbage disposal.
