shrug i never have done webpage design and i did fine. affordance is a general design term for interfacing/ergonomics/etc.

this can summarize web design:

- an good ui is necessary for a good site (good content != good site)
- know your message before you design (otherwise your site will suck cuz it's promoting the wrong thing)

(from the business prospective)
- you must sell yourself before the customer buys your design
- balance code reuse/bleeding edge coding techniques with functionality and speed (customers care about time to implement and usability)

Got to say, a lot of those questions have pretty muddy answers, but generally a good quiz.

haha, i'm a graphic designer and i'm not gonna take that quiz. But i'll tell you the answer: i understand design fairly well.
