^ yea...although i dont think pistons would let him walk without being competitive wit their contract, i would love to see how he does out in the west

that phrase didnt need a no homo

now if you woulda said "this dude is great at knocking balls out the hole with his hands" then that would deserve a no homo

that being said

yea he's a beast

Wallace is starting to wear down though.

His numbers dropped fairly significantly over the last two years...

Long playoff runs and all the bruising. I think Detroit is going to end up overpaying for him but it won't really matter in the East as long as they have Billups/Hamilton/Tayshaun.

I think they've only got 1-2 more title runs in them though....

McDyess and Rasheed dont have that much left either and they've got no other youth to fall back on.

they always factor in team's records in these votes. gerald wallace deserved to be top 5, but i can understand everybody that finished higher than him gettin more votes.....everybody except alonzo mourning.

now that all-rookie team....not voting felton onto that was a joke.

But when you watch the guy play, he's still fuckin' nasty. Did you see some of those blocks he pulled off yesterday?

Yeah, he's getting old, but he's part of a great unit. Might as well keep riding that starting five to as many titles as you can.

Yeah im not saying they shouldnt re-sign Ben Wallace..

I'm just saying he's not AS dominant defensively as he was two years ago (blocks fell from 3.0/game) and he's still pretty anemic offensively (especially at the line).

They'd be stupid not to re-sign him now, but there's a good chance in 3-4 years they are going to be getting almost zero production from him at the expense of $15-$18 million.

Then they'll probably deal him to a shitty team that needs cap relief

3rd ever behind Olajuwon and David Robinson...pretty damn good company

I think Wallace should've gotten Most Improved Player...he was like 4th in voting

I was talking about Ben, but you're right, Gerald ain't so hot either.

it seems like everytime I watch the pistons, Ben has at least one airballed FT. hell, he had two in a row against the cavs the other night

a couple bad FT misses are easily forgiven when you grab 15 boards

Yeah, the Pistons know he's a horrible shooter and basically addressed that by adding Rasheed. 'sheed can basically play like a PF or a C on offense, but Ben is a great defensive center.

So he'll be playing for the Knicks in a couple seasons.

That was a foul young lady

STFU. You got packed Shaq. Take it like a man and watch your replay.

that was a foul.

watch the replay, and don't look at the block part of it. Ben Wallace's body was all over Shaq's.

PS. I hate shaq, so i'm just calling it from my perspective.
