quick question: would lids have traditional NC State hats in larger sizes? my bf desperately needs a new hat , but even the large size in hats, with adjustable bands, are too small for him.

How big around is everyone's head?

I measured mine for kicks, and it's 23.5"

I'm trying to find my bf a new hat (very traditional - his preference is a red hat with a red block S, but considering the apparent size limitations, he may not have much room to be picky. His head is 26.5", so even the largest hats at Lids would questionable. Most of the plain NCSU hats are either S/M or M/L or adjustable...and adjustables have never fit him. Only saw one hat in the True Fit sizing scheme.)

Am I measuring incorrectly? Him having a big head isn't so unbelievable - my having a size on the upper end of their range makes me wonder. I followed their measuring directions, and took the circumference 1" above my ears.

i don't know if anybody else has seen this hat but...
its a NC State two tone hat that has TPX on the back and it is a fitted baseball cap...
i've looked in the bookstore / lids.com / google / ebay etc and I can't find it
anyone know where they sell that hat?

i wear the heck out of my state hat...it's a red one size fits all with a black ncsu logo on the front...it's about to fall apart i've worn it so much...i haven't seen many of them though
