ok so im took 19 hours this past semester. 15 actual grading hours.
4 total credits: 3 credits were from BIO492 and 1 was from a PE.
so will my GPA be counted from the 15 grade hours, or all 19. 5/10/2006 9:02:19 AM |

Credit only classes do not count toward GPA OR GPA hours, so 15. 5/10/2006 9:24:26 AM |

good deal, so 12-14 hours you need 3.5+ GPA and 15+ hours you need 3.25 GPA for deans list right. 5/10/2006 7:29:41 PM |

^no. someone said in another thread that its rounded after 3 decimal places(i think). however, there is no way a 3.462 is gettin rounded all the way up to 3.5 5/15/2006 4:43:18 PM |

is a 2.9 GPA a solid B or a B-? I googled it and the first result I saw said a 2.9 ("B") GPA 5/15/2006 10:24:38 PM |

That should be considered a solid B. A 2.5 would be a B-/C+. 5/15/2006 10:26:09 PM |

^^i don't know if that is a joke or not, but i will answer anyways. of course its a B. the first number and the first number after the decimal point are the numerical equivalent of the letter grade. it shouldn't be that hard to figure out what your numerical gpa translates too in letters.
3.83-4.0 A 3.5-3.83 A- 3.17-3.5 B+ 2.83-3.17 B
obviously, there could be a gray area if you are on the border, but that is most likely not the case 5/21/2006 2:01:11 PM |
