mclaurin fucked up

1. he is an attorney
2. the sign doesnt mention a booting

this should get fun

im gonna throw a big party and when the cops show up, boot their cars. apparently it is legal to do so if they are on private property.

^not only does the sign not mention booting, they dont have that authority under state law.

they should be forced to give the 50$ back to every car owner they have ever booted in NC

Raleigh is notorious for shady parking companies and illegal towing. They did try to clean up the towing by capping the fines and requiring them to un-hook your car if you catch them before they tow it away. But still...

Personally I don't have a problem using the big public parking decks and walking wherever I have to go downtown. In a real city, people walk miles to get to work, a few blocks to walk is seriously nothing.

So everyone needs to quit being lazy asses and walk from the public parking decks, then there won't be this problem.

I've never had a problem with McLarin parking or even heard that many stories.

Now, if anyone finds a way to take on Ace Towing...then it's cards down, I'm in!

I'm pretty sure they billed me for a month after I didn't park there even after I told them.

haha Frank Kirschbaum, I used to work for him like 6 years ago... I'm not surprised he took the fucking tire off himself then sued the company, guy's a badass

he'll probably get the criminal charge kicked, but I'm sure there will be some bullshit excuse "rationale" for a judge to dismiss his civil lawsuit against McLaurin...

I used to work for McLaurin Parking. Its a decent company, not shady like a lot of tow companies. They don't have tow trucks or a parking lot, which is why they use the boot system. I guess they could hire out some tow truck drivers to do the towing for them, and then guys like Kirschbaum would have to pay $150 to get their car back instead of $50.

shady tow companies will try to charge $25-50 per day if you don't pick up your car from their yard right away

The towing company was breaking the law.
By Raleigh Statute, they are commiting a class C misdemenor, which is up to a $10 fine for every vehicle that they have towed illegally.

When I was towed illegally, I made money. The towing company begged to settle out of court.
The signs have to be 24''x24''. The company that towed me has now gone and fixed all of their signs.

Any questions, I am an expert on this matter.
