He won't sniff 60, you can forget 73. He's on absolute fire right now and is on pace of 85, great, but will not break the single season record non steriods record of 61. He will hit a 20 game cold streak. And then if he gets near 60, pitchers will pitch around him, St. Louis will be in first place anyway, so there will be no reason to pitch to him, especially for teams trying to make the playoffs.

I made no direct reference to him, only to the state of MLB overall. Maybe he's your 1st cousin and carves the turkey at Thanksgiving, I don't know, and I really don't care.

If he can be one of the few like Philip Rivers or Michael Jordan who can stay clean, have a successful career and, God forbid, break some records set long ago by true athletes, then more power to him.

iirc Barry was on track to hit something like 80+ this early in his record breaking season...
it'll slow down... eventually...
but i hope he does hit 73 (which is the record, quit being a whiny bitch about a "non-steroids" record)... not because i don't support Barry, but because i like seeing records broken...
hell, i hope Pujol breaks Aarons record one day...
