This guy came out of a 'hood in Holly Springs and was still headed down Evans toward Aviation when I turned off onto Weston.
Was an older white Toyota Cressida (Luxury Edition, ha), lowered with similar wheels I think to what beethead has on his toy car, with missing front bumper and very noticeable FMIC.
Anyone know this guy? Not that I care, just that I was amused by this thing.
Oh, and license tag read L@@KOUTT

I used to work with a guy that was doing a 2JZ-GTE (Supra Turbo) swap into one. Don't know if he finished it because I moved on to a different job, but he was capable. I wouldn't be surprised if it's him. 5/16/2006 12:51:56 PM |

they come with a 7M stock, it's probably not that hard to put in a 7MGTE 5/16/2006 12:58:55 PM |

^ yeah, cressida has same block as the N/A Supra. Mostly likely a 7MGTE (3.0L Turbo) like arghx mentioned... 5/16/2006 1:34:08 PM |

i see that car parked at japan direct (or whatever it's called now) quite often... it's right across the street from where i work...
someone on another forum said it's a guy that works there or owns the place... he's building a drift car out of it, from what i heard. 5/16/2006 2:43:55 PM |

I always thought a Cressida would make a great sleeper, what with the commonalities to the Supra to begin with. Also, they're RWD, so you don't have wrong-wheel-drive to contend with out of the box.

My dad had a Cressida for a while. Pretty fun to drive. 5/16/2006 5:12:15 PM |
