i think theres plenty of discrepancy in our different definitions of "thug"

i dont just mean somebody who punches somebody in an ingame situation or who has a temper and gets into fights

the nba gets the thug stereotype for some of its players who were raised in low class neighborhoods and may have gotten into crime or gangs

the nhl has white trash people in similar situations

and the mlb has latinos in similar situations, to generalize everything
