are there any internet services with comparable performance to road runner. I want to change but I dont want a slower connection?

DSL... Earthlink, Bell South, Verizon, etc.

DSL runs through your phone line instead of cable, it doesn't work every where, but you can contact them and try it.

timewarner customer service just sucks, so i'd like to change, but they seem to have the fastest internet connection

You can get Earthlink Cable.

yea, earthlink runs on the same network as road runner and the service should be the same. The only difference is where your bill goes every month.


However, since timewarner still owns the lines you may still have to go thru them for local tech support.

think time warner sucks, try having to use adelphia cable

time warner > adelphia hands down

yes, adelphia does suck. we have them in hilton head at our condo, and they're the only option. thanfully they're being bought out by time warner in a few months

RR is the fastest and cheapest / mb.
i tried to switch to earthlink from RR, and twc called me and gave me 12 months at $30 so i wouldn't switch.
