If our last game against VT hadn't got rained out, we would have been up a seed, assuming we could have beat the last place team.

VT had 3 ACC wins and one was us.

That's the fun of baseball, you never know what would happen. Taking a look at the regular season stats, our pitching was horrible. Camp, Corona, Bates and Mangini were all over the stat page, but no pitchers to be found. If we can't get some good outings from the SP's in the tourney, it will be an early ride home, especially against most likely Miller in the first game

We are gonna need it. Miller will probably take the mound for the Holes, depending on who pitched for them this weekend. If we get some good pitching, we can hang with anyone in the country with the bats.

sNuw, i wondered the same thing. We were like #7 in the country a few weeks ago, but don't they look at who's hot and who's cold coming down the stretch? I figured we would get a pretty bad seed.

Anyone know where USC, ECU and UNCW are projected?

There are 16 regional sites, thats 32 teams that are either a 1 or 2, and thats about where we are, around 30 in the country. Power conferences usually get the nod for seeds as well. For instance, most of the smaller conference autobids are 4 seeds in each regional.

USC is projected a #3 in the Clemson regional, UNCW and ECU are not projected in the field

UNCW is the #5 seed in their conference, and ECU is 6th in theirs, so I doubt either team will get a big unless they win the conference tourney
