Pat Listach is the worst ever. He never amounted to shit.

I would also add Hinske to that list, I think he was 2002?

2001 was Ichiro and Pujols! Those two kickass.

Andre Dawson and Eddie Murray were together way back.

Those two turned out ok.

Did Dawson win an MVP?

Hollandsworth

victim of injury, sucking and getting traded all the damned time.
12 major league seasons, only 5 of them did he play over 100 games.
most HR in a season is 19 (Dodgers/Rockies).
most RBI is 67 (Rockies/Rangers)

Wood

expectations were too high
another victim of injury
25 wins over the past 3+ seasons yet has earned $23.69million over that time
plays for the Cubs

Damn in 1967 it was Tom Seaver and Rod Carew.

That is the best ever, well for now till Pujols hits 800 homers.

do you even keep up with baseball?

hollandsworth is completely sub-par compared to any OF-ROY. wood is goddamn injured more than he's not, some worth he's got there...

Easy on Huston Street, he's messed up twice this season, and last night he got dinged on his first pitch thrown, he'll be a ten M man in 4 years with Wagner and Rivera

How? The guy is absolutely horrible. Granted he plays for the lowly Royals, but look at his stats the last three years (sorry they looked fucked up). Dude has one walk this entire season!! Plus he hasn't had an OPS over 700 in three years and is progressively getting worse and slower. Definitely a bust.

CAREER BATTING STATS
Year TM G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO SB CS OBP SLG OPS AVG
2003 KC 158 567 92 163 28 7 17 73 29 100 21 5 .338 .451 .789 .287
2004 KC 134 512 72 134 27 6 8 43 23 87 14 8 .308 .385 .693 .262
2005 KC 159 608 68 164 21 5 11 55 18 108 7 5 .305 .375 .680 .270
2006 KC 40 147 11 35 7 0 2 13 1 29 1 1 .248 .327 .575 .238

Career 526 1962 259 529 92 19 38 193 81 344 48 19 .312 .394 .706 .270

Also where is Hideo Nomo on that list. Yeah he had a couple of good years, but he stole the ROY from Chipper thanks to the shitty West Coast writers.

Fucking Ben Grieve. I thought he was going to be nasty and I went out and bought a few of his rookie cards. Waste of a couple bucks there.

I would pick up wood for my team

i mean, i'm not gonna say that for hollandsworth, but i guess i have a different standard of worthless

i mean, there are what 750 guys in MLB?

i'd say he has to be better than 30%-40% of them

I agree with most of these, especially Wood. I love the Bob Hamelin reference

I have to disagree with Sasaki and Williamson. Sasaki was a top notch closer (even though I think closers are overrated, he was good at what he did) for several years and Williamson was a valuable relief man. They weren't stars but they weren't worthless by any stretch of the imagination. I would argue that Williamson was very valuable to the bosox the year they won the series, he was dominant in the playoffs that year.

Street, come on, it is only his second year.

Mondesi was a very productive player 6 or 7 years, I don't think there is any argument that he was valuable. To say he sucked is to proclaim your ignorance on the subject. Sorry.
