I'm pretty sure I'm due for new pads and rotors.

From what I've been told I'm passed the whole "turning rotors" phase and should invest in some new ones.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good place (when I say good, I mean cheap) for getting new pads and rotors?

Anyone have any price estimates.

Don't go to Pep boys. Years ago, I took a car there, they said they did the work, charged me for it, but driving home, still have the squeal. Took the wheel off, they didn't do anything, except charge me. I left car with them the whole day. I took it back to them and they assured me the work was done. I told them to pull the pads and look. finally got them to do it....oops, I guess we didn't do it. Lost lots of time. Now I just do them myself.

just about anyone can do brake work...

[Edited on May 24, 2006 at 1:32 PM. Reason : it's seriously like 4 bolts after you get the wheel off.]
