Could be good, its about time for another intellectual show about Vampires, perhaps it can somehow combine the kung-foo action of "Kung-foo the Legend Continues" with the esoteric musings of the old crimetime after primetime's "Forever Night". Sweet self-contemplating vampire action, oh yeah.

I enjoyed the first episode though Blade's husky-mumbly-breathy voice gets on my nerves after a while

Yeah, there are some nice looking women in this show. While I'll definitely be giving this a chance, the one thing which really glares is that there's a tremendous focus on Blade's fighting ability in the movies. The actor playing him in the TV series comes across to me as more of a brawler than a fighter. Maybe they'll eventually have him do something interesting combatwise.
