if you do can i borrow them for 2 seconds to cut a 1/2" threaded rod? of course i'll come to you. reply or pm me if u can help me out

Just bring it into home depot near the rod section. There's one sitting there. make sure you let the guy know ur bringing the rod in, tell him you just wanna check sizes or something.

yea i figured they had to have 1 there for cutting chains to length and shit but i didn't see 1 and i asked like 3 employees they were all like "u can buy 1 cause we can't cut that here"

i have a grinder (w/ cutoff wheel).. but it's at a friend's house in fuquay

that sucks, cause i cut those closet made shelves with one at the home depot at crossroads. not 100%, could have been lowe's but it was definitely crossroads. can you not use one of the ones for sale?

That's pretty damn big for bolt cutters.

Hacksaw with a good bimetal blade. Like my 20 dolla hacksaw.
