I always liked Iron Head. Used to be a big Falcon fan back in the 90s as well.

My roommate used to control the Saints every so often. I think thats where Heyward played at the time. He'd be throwing guys off left and right with Iron Head. He'd get to about the 5 on a TD run, then turn around and find 2 more guys to bull over before scoring.

Man, what a game.

Heres a question. How many Tecmo Bowls have you won???

I've won 4. Won back to back once and the game messed up when trying for a 3-peat.

I never use the good teams, so I'm sure I could win a lot more with teams like Bills, Niners, etc.

I won titles with Falcons, Dolphins, Rams, and Saints. I guess the Dolphins were pretty good. Other than that, never used a good team.

^ yeah, for starters, Okoye was pretty badass too

and you could pick any team's NT (they all ran a 3-4 on this game) and hold the controller down + toward the line of scrimmage, then dive like half a second after the ball was snapped. good for a sack 99% of the time when the QB was under center.

rip ironhead

I dont know.. I had pretty damn good luck with Ironhead, he was a beast. And I know you could do that with just about any D-lineman, but Nelson was retardedly fast

Quote :
"3. Bo Jackson

Bo is a great video game athlete. He is the fastest player in both Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl. He would do things that are just super human in those games. What puts him so high is beyond what he did on the digital gridiron. Bo Jackson is known more for his Tecmo Bowl prowess than he is as a real football player. People have more memories running circles around their friends with Bo than they do of him running 90+ yards for the touchdown. His real life stats don't speak to the memories he gave to old school gamers everywhere. "

The best player on Tecmo Super Bowl was hands down, Thurman Thomas. Run the play action to him, unstoppable.

Who are all these people saying Bo Jackson wasn't in TSB? It was released in 1991, he didn't get injuried till that season.

I'm about 99% sure he was in TSB. I remember he, Lawrence Taylor, Bruce Smith, and Okoye were all completely unstoppable

I hope not. The last thing I need to be doing is playing Tecmo Super Bowl for four hours a day on a giant TV.
