I'm not entirely sure but I bet he took Dr. Van Dyke's place

Van Dyke retired after this past semester after like 40 years and he was the only BO 200 teacher that I know of

so, to answer your question, nobody has had him and nobody has any of his tests

Actually Mickle has taught BO200 in the summer for a while. They're still trying to narrow down the replacement for Dr. Van Dyke - I think there's 2 or 3 candidates. Atleast that was the situation last week.

I had Mickle for a different class and his tests were all essay, but the questions were straight forward and mostly from lecture. He's really fair with grading and gives partial credit. But I doubt he'd have essays with a 200-level class in the summer. He's a really nice guy - talk to him if you're having problems.

I had him for Bio 183, great teacher but the tests were somewhat hard. You had to know and understand the material, memorization wasn't good enough for his tests.

Historically BO 200 has been very easy (from what i hear) so i'd expect mickle to make is somewhat harder.

I had him for Bio 125 and 183. He isn't a great professor, I hope you enjoy powerpoint's cause thats all he does. BO 200 has now seen its death sadly Van Dyke was a great professor.

Glancing at school tool, Thakor, Mickle and VanDyke have taught BO200/200H multiple times. If user MetalRed is still around, might want to shoot him/her a PM.

Thanks. He doesnt seem so bad so far. I had my first test yesterday, it was pretty easy...and yea, the powerpoints are pretty boring, but thats just how it is.

I had mickle for bio 125 ( long before 183 was invented) . he was a good teacher but you had to know the material, bo 200 with vandyke was a shade easier.
