Take one of the electives, theory (301), or history (201/202) instead. That stuff's not too complicated, and I can't imagine rudiments being too engaging.

I'm taking 301 next semester, but I've already studied some music theory on my own. Is there a composition required at the end of the semester, or is that 302?
