is "nintendo power" still in publication? my brothers and i had subscriptions (we don't like sharing). i found a couple of old ones from waaaay back in the day. is there are market for these? they're still in nearly mint condition. it's fun looking through them.

wtf is wrong with the power glove? we had one. we got the controller pad for the track & field game. and we of course had the gun too.

OMG! I have been waiting for this DVD to come out for FOREVER, can't wait to get it. Fred Savage AND Christian Slater.

I too found it VERY strange that the VERY first time that Mario 3 was played that the kid would know how to get the whistle. Unless in one of those magazines they would release secrets/tips for games before they came out, which wouldn't be likely.

But who cares, that DVD will be added to my collection.

i don't know if y'all remember or not, but they gave out mini-nintendo power at the movie theatres when "the wizard" came out. it's very likely that nintendo gave the movie makers secrets and whatnot for the video game, so that they could put it in the movie. i mean, the kids were calling up nintendo power's techline and shit in the movie. it's like a commercial for nintendo, and the video game industry at the time.
