i have wireless in my room upstairs, the router is downstairs and i have a fine connection UNTIL an incoming call comes in to the house and occasionally when i pick up the phone to make a call.
obviously there is some sort of interference but i dont know how why and what i can do about it.
any suggestions?

Change the wireless channel. Look under the router settings for the option. Oh, RTFM!

for the best results change your phone or the router

otherwise change your channel to the highest or lowest

do you have DSL? if so make sure there are filters on all the phones you use.

i always put my wireless on channel 1 and then put the phone on something like 15...i don't know if two channels next to each other (ie. wireless on channel 1, phone on channel 2) will affect each other, but i've never had any problems whatsoever

random suggestion, is the phone base in the same room as the wireless router? If so separate the 2....cause they are right about the 2.4 ghz phoen and 2.4 ghz router.

or get like..a 5.3 ghz phone or whatever it is.
