Nahh i want an awd car and i'm looking at subies but when it comes down to it they just can't make the kinds of power skylines can... they detonate at much lower boost levels

the shifting pattern is the same from what i understand (still left to right goin up gears), so it would be just the same as when you were young and you're parents/older brother/sister's let you shift the stick when they engaged the clutch from the passenger side (and screw all the haters- I think it would be cool to have a righthand drive car here, especially a skyline or sylvia or something)... hell, i wouldn't mind even having a true honda integra type r

pedals are the same.

only difference would be the steering rack/column and perhaps the throttle/clutch/brake cables/lines

I'm looking for a 500-600 whp awd car that isn't going to be on the verge of poping the motor every time i get on it.

Does the mainland of Europe not have skylines... cause aren't their cars left hand drive?

i don't really care about working on it and how long parts arrive i'm not trying to rock a skyline as my only car... that would just be retarded.

i was thinking about building an old mustang up to do it which would be cool but the biggest pita ever. you can mate a t-56 to a cyclone transfer case (40f/60r torque split) with a do it yourself adapter flange that but then still you have to worry about front end axle clearances etc.

I have a RHD car, its easy to shift- you get used to it quickly. and the pedals are the same who the heck told you they wern't?

Btw i also just walked in the door from the bahamas where they have RHD cars.

Oh, and R32 is so much nicer than the 33, not to mention cheapers

alright slut, didn't catch on to the internet sarcasm...I actually got into a heated debate in my Organic Chem Class over which side the clutch was on. Somehow I lost the debate and it was decided that the clutch pedal was on the right side which pissed me off for the rest of the week. So yeah.

If I could find a decently priced farmall even if it's a cub, I'd sell my massey harris. it's a decent tractor, but the farmalls are much better.

Unfortunately, the Farmalls ain't shit. Unless it's a 3-series or higher or an old M. Or a diesel. The small Farmalls are, for the most part, geared way too damn high. First gear ain't low enough.

My oldie tractor of choice would have to be the Ford 660 or 860 Powermaster.

And I got a soft spot in my heart for ye olde Johnny Putt.

^^ with all due respect, for cultivating and tending a garden, you cannot beat the super A-140. they were mainly used as tobacco tractors in this part of the world. I've messed with a lot of 2 cyl John Deeres, but they are very clumsy and hard to do anything with. I've often wondered how they could have sold a single 40 or M when you could get a super A or 140. the bigger ones are powerful, but the hand clutches, difficult to shift transmissions, and powr trol make them aggravating. the farmalls might be geared high, but they are much better tractors in my opinion. people do like the way the JDs sound, though

2nd gen VR-4 with Big 16G turbos, front mount, new rod bearings, maybe some minor weight reduction. You should be able to boost about 18-20psi on 93 which will get you close to 500awhp... 100 octane unleaded will get you to 600+ with ease. Recently a VR-4 went 9's on race gas, street tires, no nitrous... pump gas record is low 11's.

That'll still cost you way less than just buying the Skyline.

yes it will... but then I'm driving a Mitsubishi with too much electronics for its own good ( i don't trust them) + i remember hearing that they had some sort of issue with the head, either valve seals or warping or something that caused excessive smoke in time.

ohh yeah and they weigh more than my lifted jeep with 31s and a full size spare.
