I used Rent A Center at one point in time..
BUT RENTAL IS STUPID! I hate to tell you, but you're better off to buy cheap, used furniture, mine is paid off, but I paid 150% of the cost. 6/12/2006 11:59:58 PM |

You'll pay out of the ass for rental furniture, what I have is really nice, I love it, i'll keep it a while, nice leather living room stuff, and a great bedroom, but looking back at what I spent, I could have bought a car...its outrageous...
Craigslist, free section, furniture section, wakefreecycle (yahoo) and triangle stuff for sale (yahoo)...are GREAT places! 6/13/2006 12:03:33 AM |

you'll pay more renting than you would buying really cheap stuff. granted cheap stuff won't look as nice, but you don't have to worry about ruining it or anything.
and if it's cheaper than renting, you could just throw it away at the end of the year and still be ahead. any small amount you sell it for would be added bonus, or you could make someone elses year by giving it away to the next person. 6/13/2006 8:13:42 AM |

Years ago, when I first moved to the Raleigh area, I rented some furniture from Cort Furniture Rentals. At that time, I had a living room and dining suite for a total of $150/month. It was fine and suited my purposes for 2 months as I wanted some time to settle in and find furniture that I wanted. 6/13/2006 9:13:57 AM |
