i visited a couple of websites to find out what were some of the best prices as far as renting furniture for my bedroom...they all had lots of great pics, but no prices...anyone here know of the best prices that are out there and who has them?? thanks

I used Rent A Center at one point in time..

BUT RENTAL IS STUPID! I hate to tell you, but you're better off to buy cheap, used furniture, mine is paid off, but I paid 150% of the cost.

I just dont want to deal with buying some furniture and then having to get rid of it right after my senior year (this year)...

but if i do find some cheap used furniture, i'll def. take your advice...

You'll pay out of the ass for rental furniture, what I have is really nice, I love it, i'll keep it a while, nice leather living room stuff, and a great bedroom, but looking back at what I spent, I could have bought a car...its outrageous...

Craigslist, free section, furniture section, wakefreecycle (yahoo) and triangle stuff for sale (yahoo)...are GREAT places!

you'll pay more renting than you would buying really cheap stuff. granted cheap stuff won't look as nice, but you don't have to worry about ruining it or anything.

and if it's cheaper than renting, you could just throw it away at the end of the year and still be ahead. any small amount you sell it for would be added bonus, or you could make someone elses year by giving it away to the next person.

Years ago, when I first moved to the Raleigh area, I rented some furniture from Cort Furniture Rentals. At that time, I had a living room and dining suite for a total of $150/month. It was fine and suited my purposes for 2 months as I wanted some time to settle in and find furniture that I wanted.

renting furiture is crazy.between craigslist&tww. u could have probaly furnished 3 college for apts $150
