I believe they played 2 seasons in the Greensboro Coliseum before ESA was open.

Greensboro monarchs dissolved and most players were sent to minor league teams or the florida panthers.

Generals came after the canes left for raleigh out of the rubble of the hurricane!

I ended up going to more than a few monarch games that was the first time I saw Kevin Weekes play!

I snuck into a few hurricanes games and knowing the security i got to meet a few of the players. and by meet I got to have them acknowledge my existence as they walk fast and look for security! Oh what fun memories I had of Ron Francis and Rod Brindamor(spell)
