Wow, so according to The Technician, he died recently.
That is so sad. He might have failed me in bowling, but that is such a shame. Apparently, he had a cardiac arrest at the gym, which seems strange for a PE teacher.
He was really young, I feel so sad for his family and friends.

(If there was another thread, I couldn't find it)

wow, that is shocking. i had him for PE101 and he ran with our class and was in really good health and very aware of health/nutrition/etc. for the classroom part of pe101. i liked him too...sad to hear the news. however, he wasn't really young in my book...i thought he was around 50ish(i could be mistaken). young to die, yeah, but not really young.

upon reading the article...he was 55.

I was in the gym that morning. Thought it was a bit odd to have EMS there at 6:30ish am.

i took bowling, and to be honest, if you can't bowl worth shit, then you may have problems passing the class. the majority of our grade was based purely on our bowling average.

mmmHm. For girls, you had to have a 150 AVERAGE, not high score to get full credit for 70% of your grade, the other 10% for particiption and 20% for quiz/test (one of each). Males had to have a 180 average. I only failed by 2 points, though - my semester bowling average was a 98

I had him for golf last summer. He was a really cool teacher and made class interesting because he knew his stuff and had cool ways to get you to swing right.

Damn. Prayers to him and his family.
