oh god princess bride.
not that i don't like the movie, but that will be a damn dork convention.
about the only movie i'd less like to see with a crowd at an engineering school is monty python (or perhaps spaceballs). 6/22/2006 4:21:39 PM |

I saw the newer version (the one with the extra 30 seconds or something) of Monty Python and the Holy Grail years ago with a full crowd. Shit was awesome. Nerdy as hell, but fun. 6/22/2006 4:24:33 PM |

I was considering Heavenly Creatures, because I saw part of it awhile ago and really liked it, but I have other plans already ] 9/19/2006 2:14:39 AM |

Lame, miska! It was great to see it on the big screen- it's Jackon's best movie [LOTR nerds plz don't stone me, kthx]. The most annoying part was that they made it a scholars event, so I kept hearing these sheltered freshmen say things like "Yeah... that was interesting. It was about lesbians and they kill this woman. Really weird..." afterward. The best part is that they're told that the murder will happen in the first five minutes of the movie, yet most of them gasped when the act occurred. How can is possibly be a surprise? It's like screaming, "NOOOOOOO!" when the ship sinks in Titanic.
Anyway, I would see Butcher Boy tomorrow, but I'll be at the Sufjan concert. I'll definitely still be going to see Water again at some point. 9/20/2006 2:03:38 PM |
