Plug in: Standby LED comes on in front. LED 8003 on mainboard comes on

Push Power on Remote: LED 8002 and LED 8001 come on on mainboard, 2seconds later they go off. Red Alarm LED comes on on mainboard. Pushing power on remote no longer works. Standby LED goes off.

AudioAdvice.

I know the repair guys and while it may be a tad more expensive ($120/hr), I know each of the guys that work there and they have a combined 100 years experience doing it. They really know what parts to use, and they guarantee any repair they do 100%.

They will even come and pick it up for a fee. These are the guys you go to if you want it fixed the first time without any worry.

i second Raige. Audio advice is the only place to go for a worry free repair. or anything audio related really. they are really nice guys and not stuck up at all considering the prices of some of the things they sell.

*Somebody insert a pic of Chef's TV from Southpark*

What's the age of the TV and do you have any warranty/contract information for it?

Or if you need to buy a new one, Im working for corporate HP these days and a nice 30% off the retail price is nice.

I just bought our 50'' and Sssssssweeeet! Four year warranty for only $399 was well worth it and it has 60,000 hours until the plasma reaches its half life. Thats more TV that I will watch in 20 years

how much of an issue is burn-in. am looking to buy a plasma but am wary because of it. can you get rid of it once it occurs? How long does an image have to stay there for that to happen?

You shoud flip channels at least once every 10 minutes to avoid burn in.

Anyone want to get in on a class-action lawsuit against stations that use those damn station-logo bugs in the corner of the screen?
