Twelve months ago, Julius Hodge was the 20th pick in the draft, taken by Denver. A recent survey of mock draft experts on NBA.com predicted Simmons would be taken No. 12 by the New Orleans Hornets. If that prediction holds, it will mark NC State's first lottery selection since Golden State used the 11th pick of the draft to snatch up Todd Fuller in 1996."
